Narayana Swamy to fight LS polls from Chittoor

Vijayawada: Deputy chief minister K Narayana Swamy was named as candidate for Lok Sabha elections from Chittoor constituency.
Sitting MP N Reddappa was named as candidate from GD Nellore assembly constituency represented by Narayana Swamy.
YSRCP released its fourth list of candidates late on Thursday.
The party announced candidates for eight assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha constituency. Nine of the eight constituencies are SC reserved seats.
Home minister Taneti Vanitha was shifted to Kovvur with Kovvur MLA Talari Venkata Rao moving to Gopalapuram represented by Vanitha. Former legislator Nallagatla Swamy Das, who recently joined YSRCP from TDP was named as candidate from Tiruvur in NTR district.
Madakasira legislator Tippeswamy was dropped in favour of Eera Lakkappa. Similarly, Singanamala MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavati was replaced by M Veeranjaneyulu. Dr Dara Sudheer will be Nandikotkur candidate as the party dropped MLA Arthur.
The party did not consider Labbi Venkata Swamy backed by Siddartha Reddy Byreddy.
Kanigiri legislator Burra Madhusudan Yadav was also dropped and replaced him with another Yadav leader, Daddala Narayana Yadav.
