Naidu in touch with BJP leaders: Vijayasai
Vijayawada: YSRC parliamentary party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy alleged that TDP supremo and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu was in touch with BJP leaders at the Centre. He said that Naidu was trying to reestablish relations with the BJP as part of his conspiracy against the Jaganmohan Reddy government.
Targeting Naidu, Vijayasai Reddy tweeted that former Union minister P Chidambaram evaded arrest 20 times by filing for anticipatory bail but finally he was arrested. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu too has escaped jail 18 times through stay orders, he said, adding, that like Chidambaram, the TDP chief too will go to jail one day.
The YSRC leader further alleged that Naidu was in touch with BJP through Y S Chowdary and C M Ramesh. He also alleged that Naidu was trying to change the AP BJP president. “Naidu did not allow Somu Veerraju to be BJP president. Now, he is trying to replace Kanna Lakshminarayana through Y S Chowdary and CM Ramesh,” Vijayasai Reddy alleged in his Twitter handle.
Vijayasai Reddy warned BJP leaders in the state against falling for the trap. He said the TDP chief was trying to use the BJP against the YSRC government.
