Vijayawada: Chief minister
N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to stay vigilant in the wake of recurring accidents across the state and ensure that precautionary systems are strengthened at all levels.
Reviewing RTGS and public positive perception at the camp office, he asked officials to study safety protocols in firecracker manufacturing units in
Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, to prevent similar explosions in
Andhra Pradesh.
With summer approaching, Naidu instructed the APSRTC to ensure an uninterrupted drinking water supply at bus stations and to maintain conditions that allow passengers a comfortable journey from the entry point to the destination.
He also asked officials to focus on Swarna Grama and Swarna Ward areas to avoid any gaps in pension disbursement.
Referring to complaints about repeated feedback calls to citizens on the same issue, Naidu made it clear that surveys should not be repeated and must be conducted only when additional data is required. He said such repetition causes inconvenience to both citizens and govt staff and ordered that the practice be stopped.
Officials informed him that WhatsApp-based Mana Mitra services have been expanded to 953 govt services. The chief minister said public awareness must be improved so that people can use these services effectively.
Calling for greater administrative efficiency, Naidu advised all departments to integrate artificial intelligence into their operations. He said data streams from drones, CCTV cameras and satellites should be unified under a common mechanism for decision-making. He also directed officials to undertake regular field visits to improve service delivery and strengthen performance on the ground.
