Vijayawada: The transfers of senior

bureaucrats

in the state continued on Friday.

Chief secretary L V Subrahmanyam issued orders transferring law secretary Venkata Ramana and given the charges to additional secretary Venkateswara Rao.

The government also surrendered protocol director Ashok Babu to the defence department withdrawing his deputation to the state. The protocol additional secretary Prasanna Venkatesh was given the charge in place of Ashok Babu.

Meanwhile, senior IAS officer Y Srilakshmi met chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday and expressed her willingness to work with the AP government.

She has sent a representation to the central government and Telangana state government to give her permission to work in the AP government. Sources said that Jaganmohan Reddy is also in favour of taking Srilakshmi to the state services and give her some key post.

Srilakshmi is currently working with the Telangana state government as principal secretary to public sector companies.
