Vijayawada: Justice R Raghunandan Rao recused from hearing a petition filed by Narsapuram MP, K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, seeking directions to furnish details of cases registered against him. The petition was listed before Justice Raghunandan Rao on Tuesday according to the roster. Without assigning any reason, Justice Raghunandan Rao recused from hearing the petition and directed the registry to place the petition before the Chief Justice for sending it to appropriate bench.
Raju filed a writ plea with a prayer to direct the DGP to furnish details of all registered plaints with FIR copies and unregistered plaints pending with various jurisdictional police stations in the state. He stated that the information is to seek
legal remedies available to him under various laws in operation. Multiple cases have been registered against Raghu Ramakrishna Raju including on charges of sedition.tnn
