Judge recuses from hearing MP’s plea

The narsapuram mp K.Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed a petition with the justice Raghunandan Rao seeking directions to furnish details of all cases registered against him. The petition was listed before the justice without assigning any reason, and the justice recused himself from hearing the petition and directed the registry to place the petition before the Chief Justice for sending it to an appropriate bench. Raju filed a Writ Petition with a prayer to direct the DGP to furnish details of all registered plaints with copies and unregistered plaints pending with various jurisdictional police stations in the state. He stated that the information is to seek legal remedies available to him under various laws in operation. Multiple cases have been registered against Raju including on charges of sedition.
