VIJAYAWADA: Chief minister
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who constituted his party’s district and regional committees on Tuesday, has appointed all former ministers as district unit presidents and regional coordinators. This will be his team which will helm the party for the 2024 general elections.
Former ministers,
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
, P Anil Kumar Yadav and Kodali Nani have been made regional coordinators. While Balineni is the regional coordinator for Nellore, Prakasam and Bapatla districts, Anil Kumar has been given YSR and Tirupati districts, while Kodali Nani is in charge of Guntur and Palnadu districts. Jagan’s long-time associate Marri Rajasekhar has been made regional coordinator for NTR and Krishna districts.
Ministers Botcha Satyanarayana, Buggana Rajendranath and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy have been made regional coordinators. Botcha will be in charge of Parvathipuram Manyam,
Vizianagaram
and Srikakulam districts, while Buggana has been given Kurnool and Nandyal along with Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy will be the regional coordinator for Chittoor, Anantapur, Sri Satyasai and Annamayya districts. MPs P V Midhun Reddy and Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose will be the regional coordinators for Eluru, West Godavari, East Godavari, Kakinada and Konaseema, while TTD chairman
YV Subba Reddy
has been made regional coordinator for Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) districts.
All former ministers have been named district unit presidents of YSRC. Mekathoti Sucharitha will be in charge of Guntur, Velampalli Srinivas (NTR), Perni Nani (Krishna), Alla Nani (Eluru), Cherukuvada Sriranganadha Raju (West Godavari), Kurasala Kanna Babu (Kakinada), Mutthamsetti Srinivas (Visakhapatnam), Pamula Pushpa Srivani (Parvathipuram Manyam) and Dharmana Krishna Das will look after Srikakulam district.
Interestingly, the chief minister has appointed his trusted aides Pilli Subhash Chandrabose and Mopidevi Venkata Ramana as regional coordinator and district president, respectively.
