IIIT student dies of heart attack

Vijayawada: A 20-year-old engineering student of IIIT- Idupulapaya died of a heart attack on Monday. The deceased was identified as V Sai Shankar, a final-year engineering student of IIIT- Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.
Police said that Sai Shankar was a native of Govindapalle under B Koduru mandal in Kadapa district. He suffered a heart attack while he was returning to the hostel after a workout with his friends.
Shankar was shifted to the local hospital at Idupulapaya, where he was diagnosed. The doctors advised Sai’s friends to shift him to another hospital for better treatment. He died while being shifted to a private hospital in Kadapa.
