HC stays single judge order on recruitment exam for MLHPs

Vijayawada: The high court on Thursday stayed the single judge order allowing the state government to go ahead with the examination to recruit mid-level health providers (MLHPs). The court observed that the exam cannot be conducted based on the guidelines issued in a fake circular. One M Siva Krishna approached the HC challenging the notification issued by the state government fixing B.Sc (nursing) as eligibility for MLHPs.He contended that ayurvedic doctors should also be given opportunity. tnn
