Guntur shooting academy trainees bag 16 medals

Vijayawada: Trainees of the Indian Academy of Shooting Sports, Guntur bagged 16 medals (5 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze) in the 10m Olympic event at the 65th AP state School Games Federation rifle shooting championship held at Rajamahendravaram, informed N Subaramnayeswara Rao, chief coach of the academy. G Lakshmi Samnivitha, G Jahanavi Sahasra won gold and silver medals in the U-14 girls peep sight event. In the boys, I Murari, Y Pavan Ganesh claimed silver, bronze medals. All these shooters train at the Indian Academy of Shooting Sports regularly. Results: U-17 boys: Rifle peep sight: P Hemanth Hurthik Reddy (gold), B Binith Vyas (silver), B Rohan Suhas (bronze). Girls: D Akshya (gold), Tanuav Singh (silver). Pistol: G Bhargav (gold). Girls: Y Raja Rajeswari (bronze). U-19 boys peep sight: Ch. Praneeth (gold). Girls: B Nisith (bronze). Pistolnoys: B D Gopi Naidu (bronze).Dr YSRUHS table tennis team The following players have been selected to represent the Dr YSRUHS table tennis team in the South Zone inter-university table tennis championship to be held at Christ University, Bengaluru from January 2. Team: Ch Venkata Sai Nikhil, G Venkata Sai Prasad (Andhra Medical College), Hari Krishnan UB, N Bharth (Narayana), K Jayasurya Chowdary (Dr. Pinamaneni) .Mehraj selected for CBSE Nationals Shaik Mehraj Sultana of Sri Venkataswara Bala Kuteer won gold medal in high jump event in the CBSE Cluster athletic meet held at Oasis school of Excellence, Hyderabad recently. Mehraj Sultana was selected for the National CBSE athletic meet. Mehraj appreciated by the School admistration.
