TTD Local Area Committee

(LAC) of Chennai. Radhakrishna, native of Guntur, was settled in Chennai and served as LAC member in the past. He was elevated as vice-president in the new committee appointed after taking clearance of the chief minister

. Radhakrishna is close to many top BJP leaders in New Delhi. He is considered to be a close aide of Union home minister Rajnath Singh.

The TTD named 14 members to the LAC while naming Radhakrishna as vice-president. Interestingly, committee was packed with mostly Telugu people settled in Chennai. TDP senior leader Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy, AM Srihari, R Raghavan, Javvaji Ramanjaneyulu, V Krishna Rao, Sudha Ramani, B Mohan Rao, Bobba Venkata Rama Rao, D Chandrasekhar, L Sudhakara Reddy, RS Munirathnam, Sudhanthiram, K Munikannaiah are the other members of the newly constituted LAC. Interestingly, the government named Nuthalapati Srikrishna as president of the committee almost two months ago. The Chennai LAC committee would play key advisory role and help TTD in taking policies in such way that helps devotees coming from Tamil Nadu. Sources said that about 2000 people mostly industrialists and business people from Chennai lobbied with the state governments in both TN and AP to get into the LAC. It took nearly three years for AP government to reconstitute the committee amidst pressures from different quarters.
