Gang of 4 held in Andhra Pradesh for stealing batteries

VIJAYAWADA

: Four interstate thieves were arrested by Chittor police for stealing batteries from mobile towers.

Police seized 44 batteries, a car, and a two-wheeler from the arrested.

The seized items are worth ₹ 11 lakh. According to police, on receipt of credible information, they nabbed the accused identified as J Parthiban (27), and

V Ramaraj

(33), of Tamil Nadu, and M Dhanashekar (19), and

V Vishnu

(19) of Chittor district who formed a group and stole 44 mobile tower batteries worth of ₹4.5 lakh in

Gudipala

mandal.
