Fazul Rahman named VC of Urdu university
Professor P Fazul Rahman, director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Dr Abdul Haq Urdu University (DAHUU), Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, a note issued by MANUU said today.
According to a notification released by the department of higher education, governor Biswabhusan Harichandan in his capacity as the chancellor of the university has appointed Prof Rahman as the vice-chancellor of DAHUU for a term of four years.
Prof Rahman obtained his PhD in nematology from Aligarh Muslim University in 1993. He is the first employee to have joined MANUU in 1998.
