E-office portal to be off-line for a week
Vijayawada: Chief secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has asked all special chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries and district collectors to make alternative arrangements for file clearance for one week as the existing e-office portal will remain closed for upgradation.
He said that the e-office portal will not function from January 25 to 31.

He asked senior officials to take appropriate measures for clearance during the closure of the portal. He said that the existing e-office portal is being upgraded to handle ever-increasing number of files in a smooth and hassle-free manner. He said that all the e-file functions right from village panchayat to village secretariat to the state secretariat would not be operational for six days.
“State government has decided to upgrade the existing system to manage the portal with more efficiency. The existing e-office mode will be shut down from Jan 26-31. All the officials from state secretariat to the village level and also corporations should take appropriate measures to resolve the petitions,” said the chief secretary.
The IT department has decided to train the state level officers in the secretariat on January 23 and 24.
