Deputy chief minister slams Chandrababu Naidu’s liquor comments

VISAKHAPATNAM:

Deputy

chief minister Pamula Pushpa Srivani slammed former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, for his alleged comments on the hike in liquor prices and regarding the alleged sale of liquor on Gandhi Jayanti.

In a press release, the deputy

CM

said that the former chief minister must apologise to the women of the state for his liquor policy, instead of criticising the present government for undoing all the wrongs of the previous government.

She added “the accusatory and baseless statements made by Naidu regarding liquor shops being open on Gandhi Jayanti is an attempt to divert public attention from the historic opening of the village secretariats.”
