VIJAYAWADA: A Tamil Nadu native, who migrated to Nellore 10 years ago and stayed in a dargah, was stabbed to death by two men on Saturday. The deceased was Shaik Sultan of Kollam in Tamil Nadu.

According to police, one Shaik Karumillah (36) lodged a complaint in which he stated the Sultan migrated from Tamil Nadu and had been staying at the dargah for the past ten years. Recently, the accused persons - Shaik Kaja (30) and Shaik Sohail Ahmed (22) - were spotted near the dargah in a inebriated condition. Sultan reprimanded the duo and sent them away.

Later, the accused again went near the dargah and Sultan again chased them away. Enraged, the duo stabbed Sultan with a knife and fled the spot. Sultan died while being shifted to the hospital. Police registered a case and arrested the accused. TNN
