Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates Vakulamatha centralized kitchen at Tirumala

Tirupati: Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the newly built Vakulamatha centralized kitchen at Tirumala on Saturday.The centralized kitchen was established by the TTD with Rs 13.4 crore and can aid in preparing food for 1.25 lakh people every day.Meanwhile, CM held a review meeting with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials at Sri Padmavathi guest house in Tirumala on Saturday.This meeting was attended by state endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, principal secretaries and TTD officials led by J Syamala Rao and additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdary.During the meeting, Naidu directed the TTD officials to initiate long-term measures to preserve the sanctity and serenity of Tirumala, thronged by millions of devotees from across the globe annually.The chief minister also instructed the TTD and forest department officials to preserve the biodiversity of the Seshachalam forests and draw a five year road map to increase the green cover.Naidu also questioned the TTD officials regarding the water scenario in the hill town and asked them to ensure adequate plans are drawn to mitigate the periodical water scarcity by adopting appropriate water conservation measures. He also directed the officials to discourage VIP culture on the hill town by according top priority to rendering world-class pilgrim services to common devotees. Naidu said TTD should rely on the feedback from the devotees and streamline pilgrim services in line with the desire of the devotees at large.Naidu also directed the officials to ensure best quality ingredients are used in the preparation of the sacred Laddu prasadams and other Naivedya prasadams. He also directed the TTD officials to improve upon the scope of medical and health services extended to the poor and the needy through Sri Venkateswara institute of medical sciences and other TTD run hospitals.
