Explaining the vision Lokesh is having for Mangalagiri, Brahmani said if his plans come into implementation, Mangalagiri will become number one in the country.
Interacting with women voters from various cross sections of life as part of election campaign for her husband, Brahmani observed that good governance is only possible with capable leadership. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu is one such capable leader who transformed Hyderabad into economic powerhouse by developing Cyberabad in the land that was filled with rocks and rubble, said Brahmani. Amaravati was also envisioned by Naidu on the similar lines with futuristic view, but the YSRCP govt has destroyed the capital city project in the name of three capitals, she said.
Brahmani visited jasmine gardens in Bethapudi on Sunday and interacted with women workers who listed their problems. The workers complained about increased prices of essential commodities, house tax and power bills.
Cheruku Kanakadurga from Betapudi said, "Previous government had announced a pension for the landless poor, but it has not been implemented for the past two years. Our children are unable to get jobs, and we are struggling to make ends meet." Brahmani assured the woman workers of jasmine gardens all help from the govt.
