Awards for TOI photographers

VIJAYAWADA: Three Times of India photographers, who won the state-level photography contest conducted by information and public relations department, were awarded cash prize and mementos here on Wednesday on the occasion of World Photography Day.
TOI Vijayawada lensman Donthireddy Suman Reddy and TOI Visakhapatman photojournalists -- N Kanaka and A Sarath Kumar -- bagged consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each, a memento and a certificate in three different categories – Godavari Pushkaralu, Ports in AP and Best News Picture -- respectively.
Deputy speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad gave away the prizes.
The I&PR department conducted the contest in seven categories and shortlisted 39 winners, including the consolation winners.
