Andhra Pradesh police
bagged another five national awards at the 68th
SKOCH Summit
on Tuesday.
This time, the department won two awards for their digital initiatives like
Project TATA
and Cyber Mithra.
Cyber Mithra
, an initiative that majorly focuses on cyber crimes against women had been successful since its inception last year.
Project TATA is a unique district-level initiative by Prakasam police focused on providing technical training to every police personnel in the district.
Anantapuram’s Suvidha initiative and
Vizianagaram
police’s women safety initiative also bagged awards. In last 11 months, AP police has managed to bag a record 108 national awards for their initiatives and efforts.
