Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president PVN Madhav described the budget as a "progressive and development-oriented" financial plan that set a clear roadmap for growth.
Addressing BJP state office-bearers and media panellists during a teleconference, Madhav outlined the party's strategy to take the budget's key features to the grassroots. He directed party functionaries to communicate effectively how the State and Union Budgets complemented each other and to explain their integrated vision to the public.
Referring to the budget presented on Saturday, Madhav said the ₹3.32 lakh crore outlay reflected a bold and forward-looking approach. "The budget was prepared with a focus on wealth creation, infrastructure development and welfare. It balanced growth with responsibility," he said.
He highlighted that restricting the revenue deficit to 1.86 percent demonstrated strong fiscal discipline and prudent financial management. According to him, such measures ensured long-term economic stability while accelerating development initiatives across sectors.
Madhav said the financial plan laid a strong foundation for achieving the goal of "Vikasit Bharat" through the vision of "Vikasit Andhra Pradesh", aligning the state's progress with the broader national development agenda.
He called upon party leaders to engage actively with the public and create awareness about the budget's developmental priorities and fiscal responsibility framework.
