''Investigations into sensitive cases including SC/ST atrocities cases, grievous offences, suspicious deaths etc should be expedited without any delay. While dealing with cases involving offences against women and children, the Supreme Court guidelines should be strictly adhered to,'' underlined

Since the Covid scare is still prevalent with fresh cases being reported in the district over the last few days, Tirupati SP directed the cops to ensure all Covid guidelines with respect to social distancing, compulsory wearing of masks, avoiding large scale congregations etc., are strictly enforced in the temple city which is not only home to nearly 2.5 lakh population but is also thronged by nearly ten thousand pilgrims everyday even amidst the COVID scare.
