VIJAYAWADA: Backward Classes organisations strongly condemned the TDP leader Farooq Shubli’s comments against the Minority Finance Corporation's managing director and IPS officer Shireen Begum.
They said that they would approach the high court to make Shubli realise his mistake in making false allegations against an upright officer.
Speaking to the media in Vijayawada on Friday, BC International Welfare Organization president NV Rao said that the high court did not make any adverse remarks against Shireen Begum who served as Waqf Board special officer.

He said that the state government appointed Shireen Begum as special officer of the board with a view to streamline the irregularities in the board.
He said that the high court set aside the appointment on technical grounds which was not the fault of the officer. He demanded that Shubli, who is heading a minority organization, should tender an open apology to the IPS officer Shireen Begum.
He said that Shubli should be ready to face the wrath of the BC organisations in the state for his uncharitable comments against Begum.
“It seems that Shubli is running an organization in the guise of fighting for the Muslims rights only to blackmail the honest officials. We will definitely teach him a lesson,” warned Rao.
