Andhra Pradesh: Civil judge dies of Covid days after father’s death

VIJAYAWADA: Vuyyuru civil court judge Jasti Satyanarayana Murthy (50) died of Covid-19 on Tuesday. He was admitted to a private hospital in Vijayawada after testing positive for the pandemic virus.
His father also died of Covid-19 recently. He fell ill after his father’s demise and was admitted to hospital and despite the doctors’ best efforts, succumbed to the virus. Two deaths in a span of a few weeks have came as deep shocker to the judge’s family.
A pall of gloom descended over Vuyyuru bar association following the judge’s death. Advocates in Vuyyuru court paid tributes to the departed soul. Yuyyuru inspector Naga Prasad and other officers in the town and rural circles condoled the death of Murthy. Bar members said that he was known as a friendly judge and maintained cordial relations with everyone. TNN
