Advocate found murdered in Palnadu district

Vijayawada: In a shocking incident, a prominent advocate was brutally murdered near Yadavalli village in Chilakaluripet mandal of Palnadu district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Sriram Hari Prasad, 37, a lawyer from Ongole, Prakasam district.Chilakaluripeta rural SI Anil Kumar told TOI that the police received an alert around 8 am on Friday that a person, along with a two-wheeler, was lying in an open field along the Chilakaluripeta-Kottappakonda road.On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and found the individual dead with injuries on his body. The body was identified as advocate Sriram Hari Prasad and shifted to Chilakaluripeta govt hospital for postmortem.The SI further told that the deceased started from his residence in Ongole around 5 pm on Thursday, wherein he informed his family members he was going to the high court. A case was registered, and a probe is underway.
