4 PHCs, UPHC get NQAS recognition
Vijayawada: Four Primary Health centres (PHCs) and Kandrika Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) in NTR district in state were awarded National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification. Kandrika UPHC is the second UPHC in AP, which scored 88.2 per cent. SPSR Nellore district’s Ramatheertham PHC, Yellavaram PHC in Alluri Seetharama Raju district, VM Cheruvu PHC in Satya Sai district, and Peddamandyam PHC in Annamaayya district got NQAS certification. Earlier, Indira Nagara UPHC in Guntur had achieved NQAS certification. TNN
