3 people facing criminal charges escape from police station

Guntur: Rumours over 3 persons escaping from police custody in a case related to woman murder case has created flutter in Medikonduru on Friday. However, the cops denied that the persons escaped were not related to the murder case but summoned them to question in a theft case.
On 28th a woman was found murdered in the hills at Perecharla. Medikonduru police were investigating the case with the available clues.The inspector of Medikonduru, P Balaji told that we have identified around 300 mobile numbers in the area where the woman was murdered.
In the process of verifying all the numbers we have suspected a number belongs to one Rajiv Reddy from Rompicherla. We found ot that he was living in an apartment nearby and has no role in the murder case. However during the investigation he gave information about Anand, Anil and Satish who stole cars at Kanigiri in Praksam district.
Balaji has further explained that we have summoned them to police station for verification in the pending car theft case. They were neither arrested nor taken into custody. As we are preparing to produce them before tahasildar under 109 CrPC, they walked away from the police station without our knowledge he said. This act makes them more suspicious and we will take them into custody now for question he added. He also said that the investigation in woman murder case also going on simultaneously.
