3 people facing criminal charges escape from police station

Guntur: Rumours over 3 persons escaping from police custody in a case related to woman murder case has created flutter in Medikonduru on Friday. However, the cops denied that the persons escaped were not related to the murder case but summoned them to question in a theft case.

Balaji has further explained that we have summoned them to police station for verification in the pending car theft case. They were neither arrested nor taken into custody. As we are preparing to produce them before tahasildar under 109 CrPC, they walked away from the police station without our knowledge he said.
