VARANASI: A 30-year-old man lost his life after coming under his own

tractor trolley

Rajgarh village

in Madihan area of Mirzapur district on Tuesday. The police sent the body for postmortem.

According to reports, Kailash Pal, a resident of

Dadara village

, was engaged in transporting soil by his tractor trolley. He was returning after unloading the soil on the embankment of a pond when he lost his control over the tractor. The tractor overturned in the pond and he came under it.

Local residents rushed to his rescue, but failed to save his life. The police reached there after getting information and sent the body for postmortem.

, jumped into Ganga river from Shastri bridge in Mirzapur on Tuesday. The local boatmen rescued him safely. According to sources, Manoj had taken loans from some people and failed to pay them following which he attempted to end his life.
