Two brothers killed in wall collapse

Varanasi: A 13-year-old boy Prathmesh Sharma and his 9-year-old sibling Mayank Sharma were killed after they got buried under the debris of the boundary wall of a dilapidated house in Bankat Uparwar village under the limits of Koirauna police station in Bhadohi district on Tuesday evening. SP Bhadohi Anil Kumar said that both the boys were playing with a bicycle near an old and dilapidated home, which was being demolished by labourers engaged by its owners. The boys were passing through the house when its boundary wall collapsed. Both the boys got buried under its debris and died. Bodies were sent for postmortem examination, he said adding, police have lodged a case on the basis of a complaint from the boys’ family.The boys, who dwelt in Mumbai with their parents, had arrived their parental village- Bankat- a week ago to attend last rites of their grandfather.
