Two arrested with 14 kg opium

The GRP caught two drug peddlers and recovered 14 kg opium from them at Mughalsarai railway station in Chandauli district on Friday.

According to reports, during checking drive the GRP personnel caught two suspected looking youths at platform number 4. They recovered 14 kg opium from their bags. The arrested persons were identified as Mithun Kumar and Bedram.

According to GRP inspector Tripurari Pandey, during interrogation they confided that they procured opium from Bihar and were going to supply in Punjab and Rajashtan.

They arrested persons were sent to jail.
