Tension in Manpur after miscreants deface Gandhi statue
MHOW: Tension gripped Manpur town of
Gunawad and other residents have given one week time to the police for arresting the accused, failing which a dharna will be staged.

after a statue of Mahatma Gandhi was found defaced on Friday morning. A large number of people from all walks of life gathered near the statue and expressed anger on the matter. Thereafter they reachedManpur police station

, 35, a resident of Manpur and the first person to notice the defaced statue has registered a complaint with Manpur police against unidentified miscreants. Case has been registered under the sections pertaining to anti- national activities.Gunawad and other residents have given one week time to the police for arresting the accused, failing which a dharna will be staged.
