Students excel in CBSE class XII

VARANASI: City recorded a 100% pass percentage in class XII of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The results were declared on Monday. CBSE coordinator VK Mishra said that 11,313 students appeared as regular candidates and 3,000 as private candidates. The highest percentage in the district is between 97.2% and 97.5%.
In Delhi Public School, Varanasi, Richa Agrawal secured 96.8% marks in science stream.Sanjana Bajoria of commerce stream secured 95.4% marks while Sukanya Agrawal secured 92% marks in arts stream. Ishrat Memorial Sunbeam School registered 100% results. Trisha Singh topped the school with 95.2% marks. As many as 333 students of Sunbeam Academy appeared in the examination. Shreya Bhattacharya from science stream secured highest marks with 95.6%. Glenhill School recorded 96% results this year. Shilpi Mishra bagged highest position with 94% marks.
