Star campaigners land in Varanasi to ensure bigger victory margin for PM Narendra Modi

VARANASI: Claiming that the exercise is to increase the victory margin, the BJP on Sunday unleashed a set of star campaigners in Varanasi for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Leading the pack was foreign affairs minister S Jaishankar, followed by Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and deputy CM Brajesh Pathak.

While Jaishankar interacted with the Tamil population, Mohan Yadav held a public meeting in Yadav-dominated Seer Govardhanpur area and deputy CM Brajesh Pathak held a meeting in the City South assembly area.

Talking to media, Jaishankar said that the world will see formation of Modi 3.0 govt in India on June 4.

“Varanasi itself is giving a message to the entire country that on coming June 4, Modi govt will be formed for the third time with a big majority,” he added.

“Today, the world is discussing foreign policy in India, which is a matter of pride for the countrymen. Today India’s image and reputation has improved significantly across the globe, courtesy the visionary leadership of Modi,” he said.
