RSS chief on 2-day Gkp visit, to address social harmony meet
Gorakhpur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Gorakhpur on a two-day visit on Saturday in connection with the organisation's centenary year programmes. During his stay, Bhagwat will participate in a series of meetings and outreach programmes. On Feb 15, he will address a ‘Samajik Sadbhav Baithak' (social harmony meet) at 9.30 am, where prominent members of various castes, communities and social groups from across the province are expected to be present.
He will interact with participants and share his views on social harmony and cohesion.Later in the day, he will take part in a ‘Pramukh Jan Goshti', a gathering of eminent citizens from different sections of society. Discussions will focus on strengthening mutual trust, coordination and cooperation among diverse social groups.On Feb 16, Bhagwat will hold a meeting with district, division and provincial office-bearers to review the centenary year activities and chalk out future plans. In the evening, he will attend and address a ‘Kutumb Sneh Milan' organised by the RSS Gorakhpur division, where functionaries and their families will be present.All programmes will be held at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Taramandal, and entry will be restricted to invited participants only. He is scheduled to leave Gorakhpur on the night of Feb 16, RSS sources said.
