Politics of INDIA bloc is 'anti-Hindu', says CM Yogi Adityanath
GORAKHPUR: Reacting to the controversial remarks made by West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee about Sanatan organizations like Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Ramakrishna Mission, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said all parties of the INDIA bloc, including Congress, TMC, RJD, AAP and SP, are engaged in "anti-Hindu" politics, reports Arjumand Bano.
Last week, Mamata Banerjee had alleged that some monks of the Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha were working under the influence of BJP brass in Delhi.
Yogi: INDIA bloc parties seek power at cost of nation
While speaking to media at Gorakhnath temple before leaving for Ballia to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday morning, CM Yogi said Congress and its allied parties, including the SP in Uttar Pradesh, RJD in Bihar, TMC in Bengal and others base their entire politics on being anti-Hindu. "For them, power is more important than the country. These parties seek power at the cost of the nation, and no Indian will accept this," he added.
Referring to Mamata Banerjee's statements against Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Ramakrishna Mission, CM Yogi said both of them are esteemed religious and spiritual organisations of India. "Ramakrishna Mission, following the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, has commendably spread the values and ideals of Sanatan Dharma and India's spiritual values across the world. Similarly, Bharat Sevashram Sangha is also a prominent spiritual institution of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Upholding the values and ideals of Swami Pranavananda, Bharat Sevashram Sangha has admirably promoted the values and ideals of Sanatan Dharma globally," CM Yogi said.
"Both the organisations have significantly advanced a broad spiritual and cultural awakening campaign with excellent service projects across the country and the world. Followers and devotees associated with these organizations will give a fitting response to the INDIA bloc," Yogi said.
The CM added, "The nature of all the parties in the INDIA bloc is rooted in anti-Hindu politics. Opposing Sanatan Dharma and the values and ideals of Hinduism is their foundation. Their statements and actions reflect this stance. These statements exhibit their frustration over their impending defeat."
The CM said reservation based on religion is another part of the conspiracy to divide India. "The decision taken by the Kolkata high court is highly commendable and praiseworthy. It is a strong slap on the faces of the INDIA bloc parties," CM Yogi said.
