On Chhath Puja, Ravi Kishan prays for nation’s prosperity

Gorakhpur: Devotion and faith marked the celebration of Chhath Mahaparv in Gorakhpur as MP Ravi Kishan Shukla visited Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Temple on Monday evening. After performing rituals at the temple, the actor-turned-politician proceeded to Gorakhnath Ghat, where he offered arghya to the setting sun, praying for the happiness and prosperity of the the state as well as the country.Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Kishan said Chhath festival symbolizes faith, discipline, and family unity. "It reflects our gratitude toward nature, water, and the environment," he said, extending greetings to devotees celebrating the festival. "May Chhathi Maiya bless every home with peace, prosperity, and happiness." The temple and ghat premises were packed with devotees, who sang traditional Chhath songs and hymns, filling the atmosphere with devotion. Many joined the MP in offering prayers to the setting sun and sought blessings for their families. Ravi Kishan also praised the local administration for the elaborate arrangements.
