Nursing students’ create TB awareness
Gorakhpur: Students of MSc Nursing (1st year) and BSc Nursing (5th semester) from faculty of nursing and paramedical, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, organised an awareness programme, ‘Tuberculosis-Free India'.As part of the ‘Swasth Nari–Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan', the event was held at Omkar Nagar, where nursing students used a mime act to educate women about TB prevention and the importance of timely treatment.Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched campaign on Sept 17 to continue till Oct 2, during which, 10 lakh health camps are being organised across govt health institutions in the country. The programme was conducted under guidance of nursing faculty members Rajitha RM, Prachi Yadav, and Garima Chaudhary.
