Most city schools register cent per cent result

Allaying the fear of new grading system introduced in CBSE class X examinations this year, a number of city schools witnessed stupendous success of students as the results of these examinations were declared on Friday.

VARANASI: Allaying the fear of new grading system introduced in CBSE class X examinations this year, a number of city schools witnessed stupendous success of students as the results of these examinations were declared on Friday.
Interestingly, while a number of students scored 10 CGPA, the maximum marks, securing A1 grade in all the subjects, others also passed with high marks, securing over 9 points and 8 points, as most of the schools registered 100 per cent results.

Amongst the schools, as many as 20 students from Sunbeam English School, Bhagwanpur scored A1 grade in all the subjects while seven students of DPS Varanasi secured A1 grade in all the subjects. Similarly two students each of Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Sunbeam Varuna, Sunbeam Academy and Guru Nanak English School also got the maximum grade in all the subjects as per new grading system.
Meanwhile, all these schools including Swami Harsewanand Public School recorded 100 per cent results, with all students appearing in the examination passing with high grade points.
