Meghalaya guv, wife offer prayers at KVT, visit ghats

Varanasi: Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayashankar along with his wife Babita Vijayashankar performed rituals at Kashi Vishwanath temple on Monday morning. They also visited other significant shrines within the temple, including the idol of Goddess Annapurna. During their visit, Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Chief Executive Officer Vishwabhushan Mishra welcomed them and provided them an insight into the temple's construction, various deities, the history of Kashi, and particularly the development of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. The Governor also visited the Nepali Pashupatinath temple located near the temple complex.Later, they proceeded from the Circuit House towards Namo Ghat. Later, they reached Lalita Ghat and performed rituals for the Ganga. The Governor interacted with devotees at the temple, inquiring about their well-being and their experiences of the temple visit.
