After it, a retired SI, Sher Ali, was targeted by the gang in Dildarnagar area when he was returning home after withdrawing cash from a bank.
Such incidents have been happening in Ghazipur for the past six months.
On April 13, the bikers' gang looted Rs 1 lakh from a woman, Usha Devi, in Bhudkuda area when she was returning home after withdrawing the cash from a bank.
On April 19, a medical practitioner and a woman were targeted in Kotwali and Sadat police station areas.
The miscreants looted cash from both of them when they were returning home after withdrawing cash from different banks. In the same month, the gang had looted cash from a teacher in Saidpur area too.

On May 6, a woman, Shubhawati, was targeted by the bikers' gang in Bhudkuda area. On August 7, a medical practitioner and a retired bank employee were looted by the same gang members at different places in Nandganj police station area.
Many other similar loot case have also taken place in Nandganj area in the past couple of weeks. However, the cops could not work out even a single case of loot.
The way the persons were looted hinted clearly that the bikers' gang members keep an eye on the persons coming out of banks after withdrawing cash.
The elderly persons or women, who could not react instantly, are becoming the soft target of these miscreants.
The Ghazipur cops have not succeeded in ascertaining whether only one gang or several gangs of bikers are active in the district.
When SP (Ghazipur) L Ravi Kumar was contacted over phone on Thursday, he admitted that there was a similarity in the trend of all loot cases especially that took place in Nandganj and adjoining areas.
He said that until the looters are arrested, it is difficult to say whether there is only one gang of bikers or more gangs are involved.
He said that the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the district police has been engaged to nab the members of this gang.
He said that one bike used by the looters has been recovered and the cops have also got some clues regarding the looters. He said that the menace of this gang would end in the district very soon.
