KVT exchanges gifts with Mathura ahead of Shivratri
Varanasi: As part of the preparations for the upcoming Mahashivratri festival, the KV Temple Trust organised a special ceremony on Monday.During the event, sacred offerings brought for Lord Shri Vishweshwar by representatives of the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple Trust, Mathura, were reverentially received by the KV Temple Trust. The offerings will be presented to Lord Vishweshwar Mahadev on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

The exchange took place amid the ceremonial sounds of the damru and conch, accompanied by Vedic chants. Later, gifts from the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust for Shri Krishna Janmasthan, Mathura, were first offered before Lord Shri Vishweshwar and then ceremonially handed over to the visiting dignitaries. The representatives of Laddu Gopal from Mathura were formally bid farewell with ceremonial gifts and dakshina from Lord Vishweshwar.Temple officials said the initiative symbolises the eternal and sacred relationship of Hari-Har embedded in Sanatan tradition and further strengthens the religious, cultural and spiritual bonds between the holy cities of Kashi and Mathura.
