Kashi royal family feud surfaces again, 4 members charged with theft
Varanasi: Rift within the Kashi royal family has surfaced once again after Kunwar Anant Narain Singh, the son of erstwhile ‘Kashi naresh’ (king), late Vibhuti Narain Singh, charged his two sisters with the theft of furniture and some important documents. An FIR was registered on Wednesday under IPC sections 380 (theft), 454 (house trespass) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) on a complaint by the security officer of Ramnagar fort, Rajesh Kumar Sharma. In his complaint, Sharma accused princesses Vishnu Priya and Krishna Priya, the latter’s sons Varad Narain Singh and Vallabh Narain Singh, and one unidentified person with theft.Police commissioner Ashok Mutha Jain told TOI that a team led by DCP, Kashi zone, RS Gautam, carried out initial investigations.Princess Krishna Priya also met the police commissioner on Wednesday. “Both the parties in the case have been assured that appropriate action would be initiated on the basis of the outcome of fair investigation,” Jain said. The security officer, in his complaint, alleged that the lock of the room belonging to Kunwar Anant Narain Singh at Dyodhi Kote was found broken. “When the room was checked, important documents and furniture, including a bed, were found missing,” he said.Princess Vishnu Priya, however, claimed that a civil suit between them and Kunwar Anant Narain Singh was pending before the court and she was expecting a decision in her favour. “To derail the proceedings of the civil suit, a criminal case has been filed against us. No theft is possible in a fort which is under CCTV surveillance and nobody can enter the premises without permission,” she said.Differences between Kunwar Anant Narain and his sisters first came to the fore in 2011. In 2019, a case was lodged in a dispute over the use of the royal family’s emblem.

Until a few years ago, installing CCTV cameras was just an option. Being watchful for the safety of your loved ones is a top priority now. CCTV equipment is today's biggest savior0; it can deter burglary attempts or safeguard against other anti-social elements or activities. One innovative solution that I came across was the MoGo CCTV App, which converted my old useless smartphone into a portable CCTV camera. Instantly, and at ZERO Cost. What is more praiseworthy is that it comes from an Indian startup. Finally, someone in India thought to do something about this and get rid of all Chinese surveillance CCTV systems.Read allPost comment
