Goldie Hawn pays tribute to her Indian guru

The Hollywood celebrity, Goldie Hawn, wrote these lines to pay tributes to her spiritual guru late Acharya Devki Nandan Shastri during her recent visit to the city.These lines not only reflect emotional attachment with her guru but, also show a sense of respect to Indian culture.
First, she garlanded the photograph of Babuji and then penned down her emotions on a piece of paper, said Gokul Sharma, the son of Acharya and `guru bhai' of Hawn.
Hawn, after arriving here went to Sharmas guesthouse at Munshi Ghat on September 7. She paid floral tributes to the portrait of her guru and spent some time recalling old memories. It was nice to see a foreign disciple showing respect to my father, said Gokul.
