CNG boat rally at NaMo Ghat today

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is organizing a boat rally in Varanasi on Sunday. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Rameshwar Teli, and Up Energy Minister Ak Sharma will jointly flag off the rally from Namo Ghat to reporters. Additional Director General of Press Information Bureau, New Delhi, Rajeev Jain said that during India's presidency of the G20, an energy week, 2023, is being organized in Bengaluru from February 6 to 8. The event aims to make people aware of zero emission energy and cng. Thirty energy ministers, 50 CEOs, and more than 10,000 delegates are likely to participate. A total of 13 boats will participate in the rally, including boats of big oil and gas companies.

Talking to reporters on Saturday, additional director general, Press Information Bureau, New Delhi and spokesperson, Ministry of Petroleum Rajeev Jain said that during India's presidency of G20, an ‘Energy Week 2023’ is being organized in Bengaluru from February 6 to 8.It aims to make people aware of zero emission energy and CNG. He said that more than 30 energy ministers, 50 CEOs and more than 10,000 delegates are likely to participate in the the event.
GAIL general manager, Jyoti Kumar said that the world's first CNG station has been built on the banks of the river at Namo Ghat in Varanasi. six people have been invited from Kottayam, Kerala in the jury who will supervise the entire rally, adding that a total of 13 boats will participate in the rally.
The boats of big oil and gas companies will also participate, he added.
