Chief secretary to visit city on May 15

VARANASI: The chief secretary Alok Ranjan will visit the city to review the progress of construction work, development schemes and inspect some sites on May 15. District magistrate Pranjal Yadav held a meeting of officials on Saturday to discuss issues related to development projects.
During his visit the chief secretary will hold a conference with the people’s representatives following which a review meeting with the officials of concerned departments will be convened. Another meeting with the industrialists of Ramnagar will be held to discuss their problems. He is expected to inspect roads, bridges, district hospitals as well as wheat purchase centres.
