Businessman shot dead by motorcycle-borne miscreants

VARANASI: A businessman was shot dead by some motorcycle-borne miscreants under Kasimabad police station in Ghazipur district on Sunday night. The locals caught hold of one the assailants and beat him to death.
According to reports, businessman Akhilesh Jaiswal (35) brother of gram pradhan Manish Jaiswal, owned a shop in the locality. On Sunday night, when he was closing his shop, some motorcycle-borne miscreants came and sprayed bullets on him.He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile hearing the gunshots local residents immediately assembled and caught one of the assailants and beat him to death. The killed miscreant was identified as Firoz Ahmed, native of Bhadurganj. Police has ordered a probe and search for other miscreants is on.
