GORAKHPUR: Union health and health and family welfare minister Jagat Prakash Nadda laid the foundation stone of eight super specialty block, worth Rs 150 crore, at Baba Raghav Das (BRD) medical college in
Gorakhpur on Saturday. The central government will allocate Rs 120 crore for the project, while the state government and the central public works department (PWD) will allocate Rs 30 crore for the block.
Central government has already released Rs 7 crore for the purpose. Nadda also laid the foundation stones of medical colleges in Basti and Faizabad.
