VARANASI: The Cornell University of US has offered technical assistance to the central library of Banaras Hindu University (
BHU) to make it a world-class library.
Mary Anderson of Cornell University, who is on a visit to the BHU as resource person for workshop on curriculum development under USAID project on agricultural innovation partnership (AIP), offered the proposal of technical assistance during a special lecture on 'libraries of 21st century'.
The lecture was organised by the central library, BHU, on Monday.
Mary also expressed desire to link central library of BHU with Vivo and e-clips projects that are running in US libraries. BHU librarian A K Srivastava and deputy librarian Vivekanand Jain were also present on the occasion.
