BHU library gets assistance from US varsity

VARANASI: The Cornell University of US has offered technical assistance to the central library of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) to make it a world-class library.
Mary Anderson of Cornell University, who is on a visit to the BHU as resource person for workshop on curriculum development under USAID project on agricultural innovation partnership (AIP), offered the proposal of technical assistance during a special lecture on 'libraries of 21st century'.The lecture was organised by the central library, BHU, on Monday.
Mary also expressed desire to link central library of BHU with Vivo and e-clips projects that are running in US libraries. BHU librarian A K Srivastava and deputy librarian Vivekanand Jain were also present on the occasion.
