Bhagirath circuit to come along Ganga

VARANASI: To promote village tourism in the state, tourism department is planning to develop a Bhagirath Circuit covering the villages along the Ganga. UP Minister of state (independent charge) for tourism and religious work Neelkanth Tiwari directed the officials to prepare a DPR in this regard. The DPR will be forwarded to the Central government for funding under Swadesh Darshan scheme.Central Financial Assistance (CFA) is provided to the state governments/Union territory administrations for infrastructure development of circuits under the Swadesh Darshan scheme.
