A terrace party has been arranged by Rehana Khan, a businesswoman and social activist from Prayagraj, for her close friends. “Every year a huge party used to be hosted at some of the social clubs but due to Coronvirus pandemic no such events are happening this time, so my girl gang decided to organise something on our terrace. I am sure it will be great fun as we have arranged for great music and a barbecue for some scrumptious food. Everyone will come dressed in black and red along with masks, which will be the dress code of the bash. As it will be a small group so it will be easy for us to maintain social distancing,” she says.

, Varanasi based- businesswoman has already begun the preparations. “We have placed a huge Christmas tree at the entrance of our house which we have decorated together elaborately. Hanging stars, balls, ribbons, glittering lights have been used to decorate that corner of the house, giving a perfect feel of festivities. This is for the first time we have done such elaborate decorations. Earlier we used to go out and attend Christmas parties organised by various clubs but this time it is not happening because of the outbreak of Covid-19, so we have planned a bash with family members and few friends. A bonfire will be arranged on our terrace and we will have a dance party along with some good food,” she says.(BCCL/ iStock)
